KYOTO INN GION, Kyoto – A Smart Stay in the City

I found the hotel to be in a prime location, right in the middle of Gion, with a big communal area that created a welcoming atmosphere. While the lack of a big communal area wasn't a deal-breaker for me, it's worth noting. The rooms were small but just the right size for our needs.

Staying at the hotel was a delightful surprise as it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The room was exceptionally spacious and clean, the service was incredibly accommodating, the location was perfect for exploring Kyoto, and the dining, while limited, was enjoyable. Overall, a great value for the experience.

Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience! The rooms were very relaxing, bright, and well-equipped, although a bit compact compared to other Japanese hotels. The service was top-notch with a warm greeting upon arrival, quick service at breakfast, and helpful staff arranging a cab for our departure. The location was a major selling point, being close to the metro station and full of restaurants within walking distance, right in the Gion area. The dining experience, while nice, could be improved with more variety in breakfast options. The facilities were satisfactory, offering everything one would need during their stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with modern facilities close by. Although the dining options were somewhat limited, my overall experience was excellent.
